Business of the Year: The Aspen Club.

Robin and Michael Fox & Friends.Editor's note:  The Aspen Club was the first sponsor of AspenSpin, thanks for helping us live the dream.  ACRA's Business of the Year award is much deserved.  The Aspen Club and it's staff along with owner Michael Fox are  friendly, generous and valued members of the Aspen Community.  Aspen Club is more than just a gym and spa....its a second home to many in the valley.  We wish them luck on their next chapter.... ASPEN CLUB LIVING.  Below is a letter from Michael Fox.

Dear Editor:

I wanted to give a heartfelt thank-you to the community of Aspen as well as the Aspen Chamber Resort Association for awarding the Aspen Club & Spa the Business of the Year, given to us at the Wintersköl Luncheon last week. (And thank you to Chris Klug and Warren Klug for the essential items we will need in the upcoming construction process. I am sure that duct tape will come in handy in the next few years.)

Wintersköl's theme this year was a “Cut Above the Rest,” and it was only fitting that The Aspen Club & Spa was granted this award as the business representing this theme. We strived during 2010 to characterize just that, a place where locals and visitors alike can go to realize their highest levels of health and performance — whether as a member, a fitness client, in our Sports Medicine clinic, our spa or our salon, to become a cut above the rest in order to reach their individual goals and aspirations.

With our Aspen Club Living approvals from City Council in June, we have begun to realize our own aspirations of becoming a leading destination healthy living center of excellence — a “cut above the rest” in Aspen, the country and the world. We have already started to add classes, new programs, new equipment and leading instructors in order to stay at that forefront, and we will continue to do this in the next few years as we transform from The Aspen Club & Spa to Aspen Club Living.

Thank you again for all of your continued support and to the chamber for recognizing us during this fantastic winter weekend in Aspen — we are proud to represent this community!

Michael Fox
