Full Moon Party

3/29/10 Full Moon Party. Click for pix.Aspen, Colorado (3/29/10).

It was a Full Moon. A bright, beautiful FULL MOON. The Buckaroo's, the infamous Ajax Mountain ski-gang has been known to party when the moon goes full. It's a wee bit of a hike, and a wee bit of a ski. You have to know the way, and you need an invite, but the FULL MOON CABIN  (undisclosed location) is the best spot in Aspen. Last night over 20 Buckaroo's, Buckettes and other invited guests made the backcountry trek to THE FULL MOON CABIN.  When the lunar calander says party, the THE CABIN becomes a full-on rager and the 'roos get wild.

The food, the drinks,  the music, everything was packed into the alpine woods on the backs of the participants. The natural setting is indescribable. Even our photos cannot capture the splendor of this secret location. Civilization is miles away. As the moon was rising, we ate, drank, danced and celebrated.  Its a prime example of "livin' the dream" in Aspen.  After a kick a$$ homemade repast we all skied down in the moonlight. Sure it was icy.... chunky death cookies and unseen bumps were everywhere, but FULL MOON skiing is one of the best experiences ever.
